온라인 비지니스의 반대 개념으로 실제 건물에 가게/사무실을 차려서 하는 비지니스를 설명할 때 쓰는 형용사다. 직역하면 ‘벽돌과 몰탈(시멘트+모래+물)’이니까 기억하기 어렵지 않을 거다. brick을 복수로 써서 bricks-and-mortar라고도 한다.
