지금 하려는 것에 자신/확신이 없을 때 이 말을 하면서 한다.

예를 들어 자전서 혼자 타기를 처음 시도할 때 Here goes nothing.이라고 말하고 페달을 밟기 시작한다든지.

자신은 없지만 한 번 해보겠다는 정도의 뜻으로 받아들이면 되겠다.

참고로 nothing을 빼고 Here goes.라고 하기도 한다.
