직역하면 대본을 뒤집는다는 뜻이니까 이해하기 쉬울 거다.

flip the script on [something]의 형태로 써서 뭘 뒤집은 건지 나타낼 수 있다.

flip the script on [someone]의 형태로 쓰면 상황을 반전시켜 someone에게 불리하게 만든다는 의미가 된다.
